Yes, it can help, here’s why. If done properly there is no reason why you cannot take in all the nutrients both macro and micro plus the fiber you need in a liquid form. If you have a really good high-speed blender, you could blend everything you need and quite possibly have a better diet than if you are eating solid foods.
Because you’re putting it into blender, you’re much more likely to measure the portions sizes than you might be in regular cooking. So, just measure everything and use a free app like Cronometer to track your calories, macro and micronutrients will help you tremendously.
Once you get the hang of it, you’ll be very surprised at just how easy it is to do on a daily basis.
You will be able to ensure that you’re in a slight caloric deficit all the time so you are sure you should slowly lose weight over time. If you’d like to dial it up a notch by reducing your calories a little, then you can, and you’ll know just how many you need to drop to lose the weight without guessing.
A liquid diet could be a very simple way for you to ensure that you’re losing weight and keeping it off. Be sure to see our sustainability section below to see just how long you can remain on the diet safely.

What Is The Liquidarian Diet?
This diet is very easy to understand. You drink all of your meals as liquid, no solid foods of any kind. No, no one is advocating that you blend up pork chops and mashed potatoes and drink them for dinner.
The proper way to do this diet is that nearly everything you consume will be raw foods. No, not raw meats or raw eggs, we would not want to expose you to the nasty stuff uncooked animal products contain such as salmonella or worms.
Instead, you’d be blending great, tasty shakes of fruits and vegetables, seeds and protein powders like pumpkin seeds and hemp seed protein as an example.
You could add in super foods that would really give you a boost nutritionally such as spirulina, turmeric, a few powerful herbs and more.
You could combine your shakes so that you have fruits and vegetables in the same shake or separate them into fruit only or vegetable only shakes depending on your preferences. We would strongly suggest blending them all in one and sipping that all throughout the day.
This way you get a great tasting shake that delivers all those amazing nutrients to you all day long.

Who Is A Liquidarian Diet For?
This diet tends to work really well for people who have had a hard time sticking to diets in the past. The reason being that this constant trickle in nutrition you’re getting all day really helps kill food cravings and helps stabilize your blood sugars.
The Liquidarian diet also works well for those who have had a hard time dieting due to food cravings. When sipping the shakes all day you keep that great taste going, don’t let blood sugars drop and have a constant flow of nutrients, all of which help stave off food cravings both psychological and physical.
This diet may also be well suited for vegans, vegetarians or those just looking for a very healthy way to diet.
It also may work well for those that for a time are unable to chew solid food as in those with facial injuries, surgeries or other medical conditions that prohibit chewing.
What Are The Benefits Of A Liquidarian Diet?
The main benefit is that it takes into account what your human digestive system really is, we are all just great big juice extractors. If you think about it, you’ll see it’s true.
We masticate food with our teeth to shred it and mix it with enzymes to break it down. Then all the micro and macronutrients are carried into your body through a large filter which is your intestinal tract.
They are carried by a liquid system around to the areas of greatest need. We then use this liquid transport system to eliminate the waste separating it into liquid or mostly solid before it exits.
This is just like a quality modern day juice extractor machine that you can use in your home.
Sure, it’s not exactly the same, but it’s pretty darn close.
So, this diet just does all the mastication for you.
One of the greatest benefits is that people will consume copious amounts of raw food because most people would shy away from blending up lasagna, steaks, fried eggs and toast with jam.
Just the fact that people are consuming more raw natural foods on this diet makes it healthier than the vast majority of them out there today.
You don’t have to worry about your fiber intake because you just blended your foods, you didn’t juice them.
Now, yes, the Liquidarian diet also includes juices. So, many will start the day with a nice glass or two of fresh juice that they made themselves or even bought at a fresh juice counter.
Then, for the rest of the day they will tend to consume blended foods made with a high-powered blender of some sort.

Is The Liquidarian Diet Safe?
In our humble opinion it’s a heck of a lot safer than the long term affects of most other diets that people jump on these days without vetting them at all.
Just take the keto craze as an example.
Ok, so, it’s just fine to eat hamburger patties covered in cheese and topped with a fried egg and mayonnaise, just so long as you don’t eat an apple, because man, those carbs will kill you.
This is retarded. They are sacrificing their long-term health by eating a diet full of terrible foods to drop the weight they gained eating a diet full of terrible foods.
What the heck ever happened to common sense.
How about eating whole, raw, natural foods for a change.
They talk about calories. Well, a greasy burger patty with cheese and a fried egg with mayonnaise has a ton of calories and most of them come from fat.
Whereas a huge bowl of cut up fruits and vegetables has only a fraction of those calories and virtually none of those calories are from fat.
You can eat a truly massive amount of food when you’re eating just fruits and vegetables.
On these other diets, people are hungry virtually all the time.
One thing we can say for certain is that, when you go on a raw whole foods diet, you will have one heck of a time eating all the food you need to get your calories in. In fact, that’s the number one challenge of people who do it right. They simply can’t eat all the food.
When your Liquidarian diet is all whole raw foods you’ll have an easier time consuming all the food, so make absolutely sure you track your nutrients through an app as we spoke of above so that you know you’re getting all the nutrients you need.
If you’re tracking your nutrients and have no scores below 100% except for Vitamin D which you really make from sunlight exposure, then you should be much safer on this diet than those crazy ones that have you eat like a bird or chow down on grease and forsake virtually all nutrition.
Is The Liquidarian Diet Sustainable?
Yes, it can be. If you’re consuming a raw whole foods diet where at least half is blended and maybe the other half is fresh juice, then there should be no reason that you don’t hit your macros and fiber requirements. If this is the case, then there should not be a problem.
If you are planning to do the diet long term, then you should consult the advice or council of a nutritionally educated health care professional before beginning.
The reason we say this is just for your overall safety. It’s not possible for us to know your individual needs, deficient areas if any or any special requirements. The doctor can really be helpful to make sure you’re safe.
Once you’ve taken care of that, for the most part it should be quite sustainable. Be sure you’re using an app like Cronometer so that you track all your macros and micros to ensure you’re getting them all.
Is The Liquidarian Diet A Type Of Fasting?
No, not by definition, no. The reason being is that the only thing you’re abstaining from is chewing. If you’re doing it right you are also doing it with raw foods, so no, it’s not fasting, just turning everything into liquids before you consume it.

Can You Get Everything You Need On A Liquidarian Diet?
Yes, yes you can, here’s how. Download a diet tracking app like Cronometer to make sure you’re hitting every single micronutrient and macronutrient that you need. Be sure that you are blending at least half of your foods if you’re juicing, so that you get all of your required fiber and then yes, you should be good to go.
Remember, we humans are just huge juicers, that’s what we do with all of our foods anyway.
We do however need lots of fiber in our diets to keep the food moving through us and keep us clean.
If you are on a liquid diet, be sure to get even more fiber than the minimum so that you don’t run into any unsavory issues later.
What Do You Eat Or Drink On The Liquidarian Diet?
Well, you should not think of it as an excuse to let ice cream melt and drink it. The diet should not contain any soda, or other sugary drinks, not even their diet versions because we all know there are problems there too. The types of foods you should be consuming are whole raw plant foods and here’s why.
You can quite easily hit all your micronutrient and macronutrient needs on a liquid diet. The key is to eat whole raw plant foods, here is an example.
You make 5 blended shakes per day. Each contain things like spinach, kale, pumpkin seeds, flax seeds, walnuts, hemp hearts, hemp seed protein, apples, oranges, banana’s red bell pepper, mushrooms and more.
Just keep adjusting it until you get all of the nutrients you need and are missing none.
You’re still getting all the fiber.
Just because you blend it first doesn’t mean that it’s now magically missing any nutrients, they are all still there.
You might just find it to be pretty easy to hit all of your daily requirements. In fact, much easier than if you had to chew all that food.

How Much Weight Can You Lose On A Liquidarian Diet?
Just as much as you can on any other diet. Let’s say that you need two thousand five hundred calories to maintain your weight. You reduce your calories by five hundred per day, you will lose 1 pound of fat per week. The reason is that 1 pound of fat equals 3,500 calories. 500 times 7 days equals 3,500.
This is the same if you ate the food by chewing it or drank it in a liquid diet.
So long as you maintained your blood sugar levels at the same levels in both diet scenarios and consumed the calories at the same times then your weight loss should be identical.
If you consumed all your calories at one sitting, then the blood sugar spike would be different, and your weight loss could vary. The reason being that this blood sugar spike will change your insulin sensitivity even over the next 24 to 48 hours.
This will change your hormones into more of a fat storage mode. I.E. higher insulin and lower glucagon, which will make you preferentially store fat instead of burning it. So, be sure to keep those blood sugar levels stable.
